Did you know that some air permits require companies to keep
critical oxidizer spare parts on site in order to remain in
compliance?
Arguably, having the necessary spare parts readily
available could be the number one way to minimize a costly,
system shutdown. Here at Anguil, we have put a lot of time
into developing our follow-up services. We have established
programs - including a recommended spare parts program - that we
are comfortable offering on anyone's oxidizer system. We will
inventory your oxidizer and tell you what parts are critical for
you to stock, what parts are recommended spares and what parts you
should only have to order as needed. We will work with you to come
up with a package that makes sense for your facility, budget, and
manufacturing plan.
In order to assist you in component selection we
categorized the components into various categories, as indicated by
their priority level. The priority levels are defined as
convenience, critical, recommended, or when needed.

Convenience - small consumables and are not
critical to operation of system but needed for documentation
reasons (such as in spare Chart Recorder Paper, Replacement Pens,
etc.)
Critical - parts that are considered imperative
and vital to system operation. These parts are high use or
high wear item (as in a firing rate actuator that may be adjusting
constantly to maintain temperature). Critical parts may also
be parts tied to a critical safety feature of the system (as in
thermocouples). Other examples of critical parts include
parts that have known maintenance history (as in spark igniters
that are often removed and cleaned, subject to cracking, etc.)
Recommended - important to system operation.
Operation of oxidizer system may or may not be possible without
these parts. These parts are not typically known to fail,
however are tied to a critical safety feature of the system (as in
air proving switches). These parts cannot safely be manually
bypassed (as in many of the fuel train components). Other
examples of recommended parts are parts known maintenance history
(as in pressure transmitters that can drift over time or take on
moisture in their sensing lines)
When Needed - Components that are included on
the system that are either very unlikely to fail or not generally
critical to system operation. This means the customer would only
order those replacements as the need arose.
Anguil has more than three decades of experience supplying the
full range of oxidizer technologies and servicing thousands of
oxidizers of all makes and models, on average Anguil
services oxidizers made by eighteen different manufacturers every
year.
