Problem
A facility expansion project required a pharmaceutical packaging
manufacturer to relocate an existing Anguil 10,000 SCFM twin-bed
RTO.
Action
Anguil's Field Supervisor met with plant personnel to lay out
all utility connections to the new oxidizer location. Every effort
was made to reuse existing utility runs in order to control project
cost and minimize plant downtime.
Solution
All utility lines were run up to their corresponding tie-in
points while the plant continued operations. Relocation of the
system, controls recertification, and new utility tie-ins were all
completed in a 3 three-day shutdown period. The system was
re-started and balanced to pre-shutdown values on time.
