The EPA website is quickly approaching 2 million unique visitors a month. They have great information, but it may be difficult to find exactly what you're looking for. Here are some good sites and brief descriptions where possible.

EPA's Laws and Regulations site allows users to search a current listing of the new environmental rules, proposals, and notices published in the Federal Register each day and obtain the full text for each item. Environmental regulations are found mainly in Title 40.

If you are looking for full text versions of EPA documents, this is the place to look. Usually information is available in Adobe Reader format and/or zip files. It may be a bit overwhelming, so try surfing a little while first.

United Air Toxics Network. A clearinghouse for all regional, state and federal air toxics information.

Clean Air Technology Center General Information & CATC Products. Air pollution reports, cost control chapters and compliance software are available for download.

CHIEF is the EPA's Clearinghouse for inventories & Emissions Factors.  Here you will find resources for identifying pollutants from different processes as well as assistance with emission factors for estimating pollutants emitted.
